Summary: A long, low cascade located in a city park. Very easy to visit, but not especially impressive.

Napanee Falls is a long, low cascade located in the town of Greater Napanee. The river drops 6 meters or so over the course of 20 meters. The falls is located in Spring Side Park. A paved trail runs along side the falls.

This waterfall was used to power a mill in the 1800s. There is still a small dam at the top of the falls, and the rivers edge is walled.

Accessing the falls is very easy. Spring Side Park is only a couple of kilometres from Highway 401.

Nearby Falls

The larger, but less easily accessed Yarker Falls is 25 km to the east. Kingston Mills Falls is another 35km beyond that. The much larger Healey Falls, and the smaller Ranney Falls is 90km to the west.
