The Middle Falls of the Pigeon River is in Pigeon River Provincial park. Pigeon River Provincial Park has been reduced to a day use only park, and there are no signs for it on Hwy 17. You want to head west on 593, just north of the border. You can park at the ranger station. There is an abandoned campground to explore if you wish.

This falls can also be reached from Minnesota's Grand Portage State Park

Downstream of the Middle Falls is the High Falls. The 40' high Partridge falls is upstream.

[Lake Superior] [North Shore] Nearby Falls

The High Falls of the Pigeon River are downstream. Devil's Kettle Falls, Upper Falls of the Brule River, the High Falls of the Baptism River, Cross River Falls, Gooseberry Falls, and the Temperance River Gorge are all along Minnesota's north shore.
