Minnesota's North Shore is an extremely popular vacation destination. There are over a dozen parks to be found along this 150 mile stretch of Lake Superior's coastline. Parks include Gooseberry Falls State Park, Tettegouche State Park, George Crosby Manitou State Park, Temperance River State Park, Judge C.R. Magney State Park and Grand Portage State Park, Most of the parks feature a waterfall or two. You can also explore the north shore by means of the 205 mile long Superior Hiking Trail.
