Summary: This is a small roadside waterfall just outside of Munising. Worth a quick look when it has water. By mid summer it gets pretty thin.

Alger Falls is in Munising. This is a roadside waterfall alongside M-28, just across from the M-94 junction. Be careful! The falls is at the base of a hill. M-28 comes down the hill around a curve. There are lots of cars and trucks and they are going fast and the line of sight is limited.

As you can see from the pictures the water levels of this falls can vary a lot in a short time.

[Alger County] [Munising] Nearby Falls

Wagner Falls is just a stones throw to the south. Munising Falls and Tannery Falls are in Munising. Miners Falls, Chapel Falls and Sable Falls can all be found in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
