Summary: A scenic easy to visit falls. One of several such falls in this part of Pennsylvania.

Springfield Falls is located on state hunting lands in Mercer County near the town of Springfield Falls. This is an easy to visit scenic waterfall, about 20' tall and twice as wide.

The falls are located near US 19. From US 19, head east on Leesburg Station Road. This road turns to the right a few hundred feet from US 19. Continue straight on Falls Road. There is a small parking area on the left (south) side of the road. The falls are on the north side of the road. A rough steep trail leads down to the base of the falls.

Like most falls, this is probably best seen in the spring when the water is higher. As can be seen in the photos, there was still some ice left along the gorge walls.
