Summary: This is another of the many waterfalls along the Niagara Escarpment. It is secluded, but still easy to visit and close to many other waterfalls.

Hilton Falls can be found in the Hilton Falls Conservation Area. This is another of the many waterfalls of the Niagara Escarpment. This is a small, secluded waterfall. It is a pleasant 2km hike to the falls (4km round trip) through a forest along wide, well groomed trails.

I visited the falls late in the day, resulting in the above atmospheric picture. Personally I am not a fan of "wispy" waterfall photography as the photos often look nothing like the real waterfall. If you leave the lens open long enough, any trickle of water is going to look impressive. :)

[Niagara Escarpment] Nearby Falls

Cataract Falls is 50 km to the north west. Webster Falls and the many Hamilton area waterfalls are 50 km to the south west.
