Summary: One of the many falls in Ricketts Glen State Park. The first significant fall from the top of Glen Leigh.

F.L. Ricketts Falls is the second falls from the top of Glen Leigh, after the much smaller Onondaga Falls. The falls is a slide with a drop of 38' feet.

The waterfall is named after Frank L. Ricketts, the younger brother of R.B. Ricketts. This falls is much more impressive in my opinion than the waterfall that was named after R.B. Ricketts.

The falls is not so steep that folks cannot easily climb it. I am not sure if the park approves of that, but it was hard to get a photo of the falls without people in it the day I was there.

Nearby Falls

Onondaga Falls is a tenth of a mile upstream. Shawnee Falls and Huron Falls are both .2 miles downstream. The much bigger Ganoga Falls is about a mile and half hike away. Dozens of other waterfalls can be found within a 50 mile radius.
