Summary: Brooks Falls is a small but scenic and easy to visit waterfall. There are a large number of waterfalls neaby and Brooks Falls is a nice addition to a waterfall tour.

Brooks Falls is a small, but scenic waterfall located near Emsdale Ontario. The falls is located in a small park, and is nearly in an untouched state. There are no fences around the falls, and more importantly, no dams. You can easily access the base or the top of the falls.

The waterfall is located north of Emsdale. From Hwy 11, take the Deer Lake Road exit, and follow Deer Lake Road east for about 4km. You will find the well signed Brooks Falls Park on the left.

[Lake Huron] Nearby Falls

Brooks Falls is about 70km north of Bracebridge and its many waterfalls, such as High Falls and Wilson Falls. Ragged Falls is about 60km away. There are numerous falls and cascades on the Magnetawan River downstream of Brooks Falls. The nearest was in Burk's Falls, but it has been obliterated by a dam. Little online information exists for most of them. Knoefli Falls, a low chute, which may be the most impressive of the bunch, is about 30km away.
