Summary: If you are visiting Cumberland Falls, take the trail #9 hike. The hike is worth the effort just for the view of Cumberland Falls, and it leads to Eagle Falls which is very pretty in its own right.

Eagle Falls is also in Cumberland Falls State Park. It can be reached from Trail #9. The trailhead is about 1/2 mile west of the falls viewing area on KY-90. The trail is 1 1/2 miles long and offers some very nice views of Cumberland Falls.

The waterfall was quite impressive in spring after several days of rain. I imagine it dries to a trickle in late summer.

Nearby Falls

Eagle Falls falls into the Cumberland River just downstream of Cumberland Falls.
