Adams Falls is the last of the many waterfalls found on Kitchen Creek in Ricketts Glen State Park. The falls is a narrow chute with three distinct drops. This is the easiest waterfall in the park to visit. The waterfall is just a few hundred yards from the trail head. You can walk up to the crest of falls, and a set of stairs take you near the base. It is not easy to get a good look at the final drop
The trail head for the falls is right off of Highway 118 about 1 mile east of the 118/487 junction. There is a good size parking area, so unless the park is exceptionally busy, you should be able to find a parking spot.
This is the trailhead for the Evergreen Trail, a one mile long trail through old growth forest. This is also the southern end of the Ricketts Glen waterfall hike. A 6 mile round trip hike will take you past 21 more waterfalls.
The waterfall is named for Adam Kale, who was a watchman on Kitchen Creek employed by the North Mountain Fishing Club.
Nearby Falls

The 94' Ganoga Falls is less than a mile beyond that. Just a few miles to the west the wild Big Falls can be found. 50 miles to the east in Scranton is Nay Aug Falls. Dozens of other waterfalls can be found within a 50 mile radius.
